This will rarely be the best one.  Compare the prices from a number of different companies and that way you will be more likely to get the best deal.• If you want to drive in Spain then you will have to have your driving licence with you at all times.  If your driving licence does not contain your photograph then you will also need to show other photographic identification such as your passport.• If you have taken your own car to Spain with you then it is very important that you have certain items in the car at all times.  You need to have a jack and a spare tyre in case you have a puncture.  You will also have to have two triangles that you can put up in case the car breaks down.  

You need spare bulbs for your lights and you will have to wear a reflective vest if you need to get out of the car.  These items are compulsory and while a rental car will have them, they are not something that UK drivers will automatically have in their car.• You are not permitted to use your mobile phone while driving or when stopped on the side of the road.  Just do not use it when you are in the car.
